It doesn't really bother me much, cause it's clearly just for the sake of being able to create comedic situations, but it's pretty silly how everyone is hyper-focused on their relationship and like holding it up to some kind of ideal standard of how a relationship should be or how it should progress, and as soon as it doesn't quiiiiite live up to it, everyone's like "SO WEIRD, MAYBE IT'S NOT A REAL RELATIONSHIP". It feels like nothing they've done so far has been truly out of the ordinary for a normal couple, and all the suspicion is completely unbelievable.
