Need help looking for a manga

Im looking for a manga that has to do with the protagonist being some sort of hero and the king denounces him or basically fires him and lets someone else be a hero which is the protagonist disciple. the protagonist thought his disciple was friendly with him until he did a 180 and said that he was some sort of lowly commoner. The king was chill with the protagonist too seemingly like a father to him.

Is it the one where the hero has some kinda debuff the makes monsters weaker/repels them or something through his auro/holy power and new hero doesn't. He also faked his achievements stealing from the MC and using a sword to fake that he has similar skill as MC
