The manga starts with the classic getting kicked out of the party except that both the leader and protagonist separate on friendly ways and the protagonist even gets his own island which most of the manga is based around of. He is helping the citizens of the island by helping them improve their infrastructure and teaching them to fight and later on its learned that one member of the party was his direct disciple and they had to be careful on how to tell her the news or we would tweak out (this is the part that I left the manga on)
