Hi I Need manga/manhwa/manhua recommendations. Preferably similar to the ember knight or something like bard Loen journey. Where the MC isn't OP and rather uses his brain/experience to solve the situation.

ember knight? the manwha?
I see ember knight as a standard shounen action fantasy,
which I think is very different from the Bard Loen's vibe

Bard Loen is more like Frieren and the elf boy

also "MC uses his brain/experience" criteria is rather hard if the author presents the MC as super smart from the start

with action journey aspect, I'd recommend Issak, but it is gun, and not sword
for solving with brain(?), not OP, but there are still actions, maybe things like Risou Himo or takarauji?
(there are other isekai, like bookworm isekai or the rougo isekai , but they have even less action)

I'd also throw D Genesis and Futoku just in case

I'm kind of fed with OP from the start plot, which is also becoming a trend as far as I know. Unless if the story itself has potential, like in world building, character development, and/or character interactions. For example like The Fable, Jigokuraku, and my blade will lead the way!.

First I must say thanks for the recommendations, I've red some of those before and I really appreciate some of the other titles like issak, since that one is definitely interesting. In a way it reminds me of nejimaki Serie senki.

Yeah definitely different vibes, but Im searching for a story where the mc isn't strong in power aspects and to fill their lack of power they are using their cleverness, knowledge, and experience.

Why I want something similar to Bard and the ember knight, or maybe gunka no baltzar and other than the previous reason, this is simply because I could grab some life lessons from their journey.

hoo...
I really liked Alderamin's anime
can't say the same for the manga, tho (all I can see is slime isekai's art since I read it after slime :v)

Speaking of Baltzar, so you may already know about Musket Girl
kinda similar, but it is still new, so we can only hope,
which then may lead you to Otome Sensou (lots of trigger warning, proceed with caution)
or Brittany Hanayome (If anyone is interested in picking it up)

for the [life lessons, starting weak journey] story, well, the obvious answer must be things like kingdom, vinland, etc. right?
Growing up from the inside without too much external/magical ex machina to make them suddenly strong,
(so scratch any isekai new game plus)
for that, I guess, Almark seems promising, but again, it is fairly new,
also he is kind of already strong just inexperienced, so there's that.
That Brittany above also falls in this type.

For old series, I guess Arslan Senki?

No wonder they have similar character designs. And you know what? That's adding more reason to prefer the manga art style over the anime art style, lol.

Yeah, I already know about Musket Girl, though I still plan to pile the chapters up before I read it. And speaking of Almark, I really enjoyed reading that story so far, even though the RAW chapters are already so much further ahead than the current translated version we have. Still, I could feel that Almark and the others are developing more and more overtime.

Yes, you're correct about life lessons and starting a weak journey. Story, things like the Vinland Saga and Kingdom, I could say that they fall into that category. which is why I like both of it also. And yep, they are also growing up from the inside, not much external/magical ex machina to make them suddenly strong.

About Brittany Hanayome and Otome Sensou, TBH, that's the first time i've heard of those titles. That's giving me more reason to thank you for your recommendations and put it on my reading list. I must say you seem like you know a lot about manga titles, dude. Been reading a lot of manga arent cha.

Well, well, well, the thing about Arslan Senki that kind of dumbfounds me is that the story is actually much different in the later half of its anime and manga. which I must say that I was confused by that.
