If not I can recommend some mangas that in my opinion are good for that age, but if we can be specific about genres the better.

Yugami Doesn't Have Any Friends - One of my top 5 favorite manga, I'd say anyone can appreciate it

I Sold My Life for Ten Thousand Yen Per Year. - Same as above, albeit a bit more mature, with more somber/serious themes

Or just throw her the first shitty shoujo manga you come across. They're all the same anyway (jk no bulli).
