@detra79 this chapter and cliches are manga only, the novel has the opposite. Masaru for example regulary tries to create isekai cliches like the preparing curry, pizza and stuff like that but that has never impressed the girls. On the contrary they prefer local cuissine which is mostly based on insect meat which the locals consider delicacy. There is a time where they go to this fancy restaurant which serves giant locust, Masaru only eats salad which the girls call weird.
Basically the only japanese things which masaru has successfully replicated has been mayonesa, pudding and cutlet, and only because the ingredients for those are really basic and actually the local ingredients have better quality for example dragon meat.
Ramen is a middle point. The girls like it because "soup pasta" already exists and they see no difference between what Masaru prepares vs what they already know.
