Can't keep secrets if they get you into big enough trouble to involve others you want to keep it a secret from. Lesson: Don't do things you need to keep secret.

Goblins and orcs. Classic enemies.

Yeah, that sure looks more like a tool than a weapon. Too clunky.

Dunno, fighting harpies in the forest seems like it would give them a disadvantage. Depending on ranged capabilities, of course.

Butcher vs baker. Who will win?

Killing is hard. Killing should be hard.

Saw someone leaving a house. Immediately assumes theft. A.k.a. make shit up to blame someone.

That's a fair thing to use your fame and reputation for.

You tell 'em.

He looks like a totally nice guy. Nothing to worry about with that emperor.

Maybe it's just me, but for this series, this chapter is actually pretty good.

MC keeps saying he's not a Hero. I am not so sure about that.
It's a combination of the Japan-ism of people trying to be as mediocre as possible in order to not stand out (that is, look and act like a drone like everyone else is supposed to be) and the fact that he really doesn't want to be recognized as a hero. That last bit with the Emperor is all the reason he needs right there.

That’s kinda stupid, if it was me I’d welcome the title, however it’s when I have the strength to back it up and stand at the peak of the world as the Strongest, that way people will think twice to mess with me and my people.

I'm not saying whether its smart or stupid. I'm saying that's the culture he was raised in. And just like how you think it's better to be an overachiever, the common Japanese people believe in blending in and being unassuming.

Trust me. It's a big culture shock for Americans that visit there who don't know about it before going.

Yeah that’s if he’s still in Japan.
while “blending in” never works for him, he didn’t even try to adapting to this world’s culture either..until the seggs happened.

Dude, do you stop being whatever country's culture you belong to just because you moved to live another country? Your culture is a critical part of your identity, and nothing is ever going to change that. You might adjust a bit for the comfort of others around you, but you sure as hell don't stop being you.

The scale isn’t even country anymore bro.
and for the culture, try to live in another country for more than 5 years bro, you’ll see the changes yourself.
I’ve some acquaintances here from different nationalities, they’ve been living here more than a decade and they’re more local than me.
