Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I think more romance manga need like 1 chapter of really erotic sexy time. Not every manga, but there are definitely a few I can think of that wouldn't be too out of place with just 1 chapter of sex between the main couple.

I would agree with you. If not for the fact that editors and higher-ups won't agree on showing "SEG" scene. It is rare to hey a W without the suggestive or erotica tag. Even that were the case. If the anime were to be adapted. This will never happen as more likely they would skip it or show a couple of seconds or 30 seconds of seg then cut to see the couples in bed while naked but cover in blankets.
