I'm surprised that there isn't a side that's going 'well, I can just physicaly beat down the opposition in the election so vote for me because I'll be in control no matter what' given how everything in this school is decided by beating the shit out of one another.

"The Bandwagon Effect," "The Halo Effect," I'm convinced this author doesn't really know how psychology, or even elections work. Who in the hell would intentionally set a light source BEHIND a singer at a concert? The audience wouldn't be able to see her with the sun in their eyes. The MILLIONS of concerts that did the exact opposite would prove different. Also, using the Bandwagon Effect in reference to polling? Just ask Hillary how that went when they released polls that gave her a 99% chance of winning.

Even if it's fiction, word has meaning, I can accept that in this world being behind a light source can make you popular, no problem, but don't use the term "hallow effect" it already as a meaning, you'll just end up making people believe false things if you use a real name and give a false explanation about them, having superpower and being wrong are not the same thing at all. Goku teleportation was called "instant transmission" not the "pythagoras theorem" (And it wasn't described as the speed of sound being quicker near water).
