@JesusInStripeZ It's not purely google tl-ed. That's why I said Google/MTLed. I use Google tl to scan, then use deepl, microsoft tl, iTranslate and google tl as well. I put all the translations together and try to make as much readable as possible. But yeah, since I am not native English speaker I mess up many words/sentence structures. Sometimes I use j-link as well if those four fails.

Because it's not a chapter. While i understand your reasons (drawing attention to a series, practicing your TL, offering a google translation) none of these are legitimate chapters. Much like I would report if someone uploaded a fake chapter just to give a message from the team (reported that one) or a chapter that was just a volume's table of contents (reported that one too) or to plug his site with a fake manga page (reported that one too). All of these make it so that the overall quality of the site degrades and listings cannot be trusted. Imagine if someone (it is already mentioned in this thread) automatically OCR'ed and Gtranslated 10 volumes of a manga you were reading and released them as chapters. Sure, you can block the user but why should you have to. Then imagine if bots just start doing this for all new raws of all series. Or another bot starts auto-pinging stalled series with fake chapters to draw user attention. So much noise.

Maybe if mangadex had a beta-chapter or sandbox or beta-tag to test your skills in and get user feedback you could have put it there, but it does not belong in the same list that contains actual translations.

@eatgoddamnshit If it's readable it's a chapter for me. What's with 'It's not a chapter'. If you can't do anything good that's ok, just don't do anything bad either. You can report every chapter but can't block the user/group? What type of logic is that? Rather then pressing 10 buttons to report 10 chapter from a user just block the user with single button and you are good to go. It's more efficient.

@eatgoddamnshit Hmm. You got some fucked up logic there. Remember mangadex reviews first chapter from a user before approving. Even my first chapter was like this and still MD mods approved it. In short, MD considers this as chapter.
