An interesting development. It didn’t seem like Yuna had the nerve to approach Shiratori on her own. If Shiratori is the one to approach and intentionally leverage Yuna’s crush to get her to open up, it could work, but will also probably backfire spectacularly.

As for ships, it’s hard to say what Shiratori thinks of anyone when her facial expression never changes. And Hotaru seems to feel some sort of way about her friend but it won’t be possible for the foreseeable future because one loves to travel and the other prefers to stay in one place with a stable job. So either her friend suddenly chooses to stay close to home, or by the end of this story, Hotaru‘s own arc concludes with her deciding to be more adventurous and take more risks.

I think there's a pretty big difference between an age gap between independent adults and a teacher/student relationship. As someone who has read all of Yodokawa's serializations and lots of their oneshots, I'd be quite surprised if this actually ended in teacher/student.
