Coming back to re-read this series after a very long time, i cant remember if i first read it on the original btt or if it was on here but its a very nostalgic and gentle story.
Shiro deserves all the love in the world, i think ill see if i can check out if this author ever made anything else bc their storytelling although a little bit jumbled at times, is very delicate and tender.
There's something to be said for the great care they use to address such a small child working through his fears and grief, and the kindness and unconditional love shown to him not just by his human companions but his adoptive furry family. Even if he doesnt quite recognise that it is love at first.
