To be fair to her, it probably would be hard for her to come up with a believable an unsuspicious reason for her to say no, especially when put on the spot like that.

If she's smart, she'll text the owner ahead of time to warn her. But I wouldn't exactly put money on that happening. I also wouldn't be surprised if her dad is still hanging around there and causes problems.
