Wait, so we didn't get the explanation about Tiggy, did we? We only get confirmation about the bakeneko things and that Mii chan is a hafu; but not how tiggy was turned into one and lost his power later.

I got to this tangent from thinking maybe the gramps might be the more fearful in-law than the dad. But then on the other hand, with so many bakeneko around, he must have wed his kid(s) off with human before, so that shouldn't be too much for him... right? And that's when I arrive to Tiggy's circumstance.

Hmm...If them three are the only three pure bakenekos left, then I wonder how the other half-bakenekos around came to be. Are they all cousins? Does owner have a child? Did some of their parents get killed? Or maybe we'll finally get an explanation for when she asked Tiggy about who he got the power from; it seems that regular cats can become bakenekos some other way besides living a long time, even if just temporarily. Very intrigued by the lore so far.

Aki said he was a few generations down the line where bakeneko power just spurred back up in him after it was diluted so much it doesn't manifest much in his other family members (something like a blond kid from brown hair parents who got blond gene in their genome some generations above them). So, I'd assumed they are distant relatives; kids of other now-deceased siblings.

As for Tiggy, he alluded to getting turned into human by someone who looked just like Mii-chan, so that pretty much confirm her dad gave bakeneko power to him - which prompted the shop owner to go see her dad to tell her brother off doing that. I think Mitsuki's dad implicated to have done that also during the explanation part, but then skip over the detail and go on to explain their lineage instead.

I could have sworn I read a chapter where Mii-chans dad nonchalantly admitted to turning Tiggy into a bakeneko and returning him to normal, but was vague enough that I had the feeling he didn't decide to turn him back but it was just temporary by default. I was confused why people were looking for Tiggy's explanation, but then I couldn't find the chapter I recalled him admitting it. Did find the one showing him almost definitely turning Tiggy into a bakeneko though.

From what I remember he never admitted in concrete words but it wasn't shown why tiggy can no longer transform back. My guess though given the timing is that after getting chewed out he went and well took back the power to transform.
