I think the first line on the second panel should be "I have some things to talk to you about" but I'm not sure since the way it is currently technically fits, but it doesn't feel quite right.

I think he wants to at least help her fix her relationship with the dad, or at the very least make sure that Mitsuki wouldn't get any heart break like she did in the past with him.

About the BF/owner part, I think he is doing this somewhat instintively because he clearly cared and have feelings for her even if he didn't want to admit it

Because he realizes despite trying to keep his distance he does care about Mitsuki. His antisocial-ness/apathy wasn't something he always had, it grew from constantly building and destroying relationships because of his parents work forcing them to move constantly. It seems he's trying to settle everything before he has to leave the relationships he's built behind again.

The feeling I got from it (if I'm right about him wanting to tell her something rather than her dad) is that he wants to help her take care of her problem with her dad before he burdens her with his problem with the upcoming move.
