I'd say same...especially when the more time passes, the more I'm terrified of the day I'll lose my petSynchronized father and child what the fuck moment.
But I can totally relate, that train of thought is why I stopped having pets.
Reminds me of a short story from a POV of a puppy where they see humans as these mythical creatures that live for centuries and watch over them over generations. It centered around the deaths of the grandfather in the family and an older dog that the grandfather owned. It ended with the puppy dropping this hard ass line about the older dog that went something like "He was the seventh of his family. I am the first of mine."Ah, he does make a good point.
From a normal cat's POV, WE humans may as well be long lived near "immortal" beings.
Since a cat's general lifespan rarely ever goes above 20 years.
Perhaps that's the plan?Certainly one way of getting father and daughter on the same page.
Perhaps that's the plan?
Darn that sounds interesting.Reminds me of a short story from a POV of a puppy where they see humans as these mythical creatures that live for centuries and watch over them over generations. seems to be the specific one the other poster mentioned.Darn that sounds interesting.
You don't remember the name?
Wow, I didn't even remember it was on reddit of all places lol. Reading it now, I think it aged better in my memory, but I suppose it was just a reddit thread after all. Definitely has lots more potential as a fully fledged short story.seems to be the specific one the other poster mentioned.
