Aw… so no sexy time with big cat…
(Just occurred to me, but, will Takase be considered a furry?)

But ok. I think that’s the same thing her auntie told her? And she was arguing no one knows for sure. Why did she so readily to believe it when dad said so?

Considering these are single pages, we're really only about 8 - 14 chapters in the story. This has gotta be one of the fastest romance stories ever if we get a confession before page 300
I envy the people bingeing this manga years down the line :boomer:

I disagree, the pacing of single page or 4-koma manga must be different from weekly manga , and monthly manga should have different pacing as well. It's like when they turn some anime's season into a movie - usually the movie will have much different, faster pacing then the season-length series, because otherwise it wouldn't work. It's not only anime, Hollywood uses similar rules. Trying to convert pages into weekly manga chapter is useless and doesn't say anything.

Imagine shonen multi-faction battle that can reach 100 pages in daily 1-page manga. It would read like shit, because the format wouldn't fit the content, not because 100-page battles are bad in themselves. 4-koma manga use different rules than weekly or x-weekly manga with several pages, and even there 8-page chapter manga have different pacing rules than 40-pagers, and are usually much faster paced but also lack longer scenes. Even the dialogue is structured differently depending on chapter length. For example, you can't really put something like Hunter x Hunter as 1-page manga, the explanation of how given power works would bore people and made them drop this before author would finish. Manga like this just can't use multi-page scenes the way many-pages-per-chapter manga can.

Ignoring the hiatus, this manga is running continuously for over a year, which can be at least roughly compared to weekly manga running for similar time. That would made this equivalent to about 60 chapters - or 14 chapters of monthly manga.
