I mean, yeah. I agree. I liked Tiggy as a character before since he kinda contrasted against Mitsuki but now that he's lost his humanity and apparently his human-like intelligence, is he still the human Tiggy we know? Also, considering how he was so suddenly stripped of his powers, what of the potential of that happening to Mitsuki? If it's random chance, it's concerning; if it's based on the opinion of someone else, it's even more concerning. If it's based on if the person (cat?) wants to forever remain a cat, why hasn't OL-san had the same happen to her?

Tiggy never wanted humanity. To him being a human was a fate worse than death. Cats have always had great personality and individuality so the creature Tiggy was before turning human is still the Tiggy we see now.

I mean, Mitsuki and Tiggy are totally different kinds of beings. Tiggy was a normal cat that was forcibly turned into a bakeneko. When that magic was no longer applied to him, he went back to his natural state: a normal cat.

Mitsuki is naturally a bakeneko; she was born that way and it's not being "maintained" by anything. She's not at risk of turning into a normal cat because it would take something equally as weird as Tiggy turning into a bakeneko to turn her into a mundane cat. Perhaps the powerful youkai could do that, but why? It's about as anxiety inducing as the chance your mom will be run over by a tank tomorrow. It is possible, but pretty unlikely.
