That new world actually look pretty developed, with plumbing in a remote house, steel bathtub, perfect large mirror, fridge... But inferred from the god's words, it's not as "ruined" as our world. Is it all thanks to magic? It's kind of unfair to blame us for damaging our planet so much when we don't have magic, so we had to do it all through industrialisation and fossil fuels, which were especially ugly in the beginning, and still aren't too pleasant in great many cases.

edit: yeah I also like storing cute children in the refrigerator. Keeps them fresh for longer use, so I don't have to fetch replacements as often.
