Neon Genesis Evangelion

This is what Evangelion could've been (and even probably, what the rebuilds should've been, too).

One of my favorite parts of Neon Genesis Evangelion is how every single entry starts and follows the same path, although at one point, it goes to a different route, and results in a different ending (the original anime, the end of evangelion, the rebuild series and the manga), and in my opinion, all of them are great, and the idea of you picking which ending you want to consider the real ending is really nice.
