MC new life truly has environment that fully supports MC now :meguu: was bit surprised that guild master knew about scar on MC ribs. was he formerly A-class or S-class adventurer who retired due incident ? (judging from scar on his eye)

Fist king but he has yet to fist anyone so far…
Kinda what happens when you aim for an advanced build and have to start from square 1. A good example is bards from old D&D 1e: unlike in more recent editions, the bard wasn't a class on its own. First, you had to be a human or half-elf and you had to (eventually) have very specific minimum ability scores (i.e., Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, etc.).

Then you had to start as a fighter, make it to 5th level, multiclass into thief, make it to 9th level there (so 14th level total, in a game where the level cap is 20), and only then could you become a bard.

Another example is D&D 3.x's Prestige Classes. One example is the Sacred Fist, which has the requirements of:
  • +4 Base Attack Bonus (so minimum of 4th level).
  • 8 ranks of the Knowledge (Religion) skill.
  • 4 specific combat feats (so minimum of 6th level).
  • The ability to cast 1st-level divine spells.
So, yeah, when you're starting from nothing, going for an endgame build with exacting requirements is just straight pain.

Use a hand equipped with metal gauntlet to hit the crown of MC's head, didn't she 😅
a normal person would've croaked.

The eye is okay, bird pooped in his eye one day, and he hasn't uncovered it since. No, he probably got shot in the knee like every other former adventurer.

It would be suck if those requirements are applied here in the manga. Like the whole manga would be the MC reaching all of those requirements and the final ending chapter would be MC finally be the Fist King. As he jumps up superhero style, fist punching a monster, he delivers the ending line. "My Fist King legendary stories finally begins for real!" The End.

Wait, that would be hilarious tbh :pacman:

Really seems to be jumping around in equipment levels? The parents having essentially power armor to go with their gun arsenal made me think all adults were sci-fi battlers, yet the guild is standard fantasy equipment.

I also find it weird he has an injury still; we weren't told of any inefficiencies in his healing skill, and if it wasn't maxed (or couldn't do it all at once), why would we not have a day of him repeatedly healing his chest til his mana ran out?

Based on previous chapters, my assumption is his parents are basically weekenders at best (i.e., they do it more as a hobby that happens to pay rather than as their main source of income), so they're not really trained and compensate with over the top gear.

Meanwhile, the actual adventurers, the ones who put their lives on the line daily to earn a living, prefer equipment that more properly suits their individual classes. Which, since this world is based on a typical MMO, is standard fantasy equipment.
