Oh dang didn't expect kisaragi station, or rather, surprised it wasn't the first story lol
lol as useful as a train would be in my city/county (well there is apparently a station downtown that can go to some big city near me) i'd already have anxiety about being by myself/getting lost, supernatural stuff aside (but that would probably make it even scarier for a JP reader b/c most of the time they have no choice /but/ to use a train, so if shit goes down you can't do anything about it ("Rice worship aside" i'm surprised not more foodie horror stories like "x ingredient is recalled/local live stock is poisonous/too bad quality to consume" or so even if it doesn't end in a zombie story versus dying of sickness/poison)
The original was probably a made-up story. When lost, usually one would try to contact family/close friends/police, not post on BBS. Especially not on an occult BBS.
Tbf she also did call the parents and police; maybe some ppl would post on a subreddit after attempting to contact their relatives, just to 'leave a mark/presence' considering how hardcore the supernatural chasers/cryptid/alien theorists are on reddit
