the smile I had on my face when the play was about to start and I saw that there was still a third of the oneshot left lol, the first two thirds were already great for setting the stage but that third act knocked me right over lmao
well handled Shakespeare already carries plenty of weight on its own, but the style and composition do so much to sell that "summer heat" and the rising tension between Natsu and Yuki, those double page spreads mixing the stage with flashbacks from the two of them were just stunning to read through
wild that this is a debut oneshot as far as I can tell? I will absolutely keep an eye out for this mangaka's name in the future, it'll be a tough time forgetting it after reading this lol
