God damn you can't say Kaede is not trying her best to beat some sense into Konatsu. Nothing good can happen if you bottle up that kind of thought girl. But man how did 45 pages feel so empty, i know we need to understand Konastu's thought but 45 pages of intern monologue is hard to read. I don't know why she keep being so work up for a "friend". Sometime i wish it get faster, it's painful to read all his pages of monologue.

While yes, this chapter was hard to read, I feel like that's what made it so great. I usually dislike drama about emotions and not knowing how to handle them as that is not something that I can relate to at all, but I know really, really well the feeling Konatsu is getting here (although for completely different reasons).

Totally loved this chapter due to how uneasy it made me feel and how closely it resembled my situation a few months back.

The author sure is taking her sweet time moving the characters forward. It feels like we're headed for a big development soon though so for now I can handle a slower pace. As long as it leads to something good in the end of course.

I agree with Epsilon, what mde this chapter for me was how "heavy" it felt, like feeling what Konatsu is feeling, something stuck in your throat or holding something heavy in your shoulder, like having your heart in a grip.
Kaede is such a sweet girl, and I am happy for the progress Koyuki has made, hopefully next chapter Konnatsu and Koyuki can have a proper talk.

pretty much agree with the other comments, the author's uncannily good at capturing the mood of teenage angst. i don't particularly mind the lack of development as i get the feeling she's carefully setting up the tone and backdrop for the climax, and it's nice to really be able to feel the moody atmosphere when a manga purports to show you a moody scene

i just hope the payoff is worth the uncomfortable reading
