Yeah... This is standard inequality again.
When the brunette helps the blonde it turns out the results were better without her advice.
Then the writer makes the brunette fuck up and need the blonde's help in order to correct her flaws.
The idea alone that this character who the writer is telling us is extremely hard working and talented would skip on checking her code for an official product in an attempt to appear faster than average without even considering there would be a bunch of bugs that would get her caught is totally contradictory.
Anyone in her position would know that the best chance to get hired would be to rely on your exceptional skills and work-ethic and that meddling with official product can only get you in trouble.
How the hell are there that many bugs in her code if she's so talented anyway?
This writer doesn't seem to mind at all about misrepresenting the industry he worked in in the most ridiculous ways and this whole episode only served to humiliate the character and make her look like she can't cut it on her own and needs the help of the other girl who was portrayed as being able to pass on her own.
