I've realized one additional complaint.

Why the hell is Hajime discussing this alone with Momiji? Everything about this is the Art Director's job, but Yun is nowhere to be found. Normally, this is something Hajime should be discussing with Yun, and then Yun talks over it with Momiji. Why is Hajime bypassing Yun entirely and complaining directly to Momiji?

@mogu Because Hajime decided that since she was the one who changed the design, she would be the one to handle all the complaints, despite the fact the Hazuki never does that. Rookie manager with no managerial experience does not know how to delegate.

@mogu Because (again) they put something with no experience at all and thought it was a great idea. For me it was kinda looking since they pick Hajime for the project. Most of all shit happen becauseShizuku and Christina thought it will a good idea to throw a total newbie at the head of a project and don't help really help her. Also Yun was such too busy drinking tea and eating donuts.

See, now I'm imagining a scenario where Hajime actually convinces Momiji to share some of the work with Aoba, but then Yun snaps because no one told her about it and she had already completely filled Aoba's schedule with other vitally important work.

But its okay, this all pretty much ends in a couple more chapters. Then things start getting good again.

@mogu: Yun knew about it: she was telling the others about it when Hajime caught Momo over with the development team.

This project has been in trouble from the beginning. A lot of things can be traced back to Hazuki and Rin, and to a lesser extent Christina, basically tossing Hajime (who has no management experience) into the deep end as the game's director and leaving her to sink or swim on her own. And as a result Hajime has made a bunch of mistakes, some of which have led to other people (such as Momo) being put in positions they aren't ready for so they can make mistakes, and the whole thing has been building up into a trainwreck waiting to happen.

lol imagine getting mad about a 4-koma.

of course, i kid, since this manga has long outgrown its format, but it's still published in fucking kirara carat so can we all just chill a little bit? like, a tiny bit is fine.

Well yeah, in this particular instance. I'm just saying that with how the characters are acting, that seems like something that could have happened.

Though I suppose I should also be wondering why Yun was going to ask Aoba about doing it before even informing Momiji.

People getting all mad at this arc but this arc is actually great in the long run. Like my dudes...Aoba is -rocking- this arc. She is solving all the problems, and while people are in poor positions we're also getting character development out of this. Yeah the high ups were kinda dumb to let the project run this way (but it seems to be a low budget game in the first place, so they took the risk so they can improve their staff without having to hire a bunch of new people) But like they're not trying to say this is an injustice against Momiji. Even Momiji knew she was wrong and lashed out. The thing they're trying to show is how hard it is to do Hajime's current job without people getting mad, but also just how selfless and mature Aoba really is. I think the author is setting up for Aoba to get a huge upgrade in position after this.

Yeah @Madcat6204 and not only is she showing that, but she actually picked up a new skill along the way. So now she can do character art, character models, and UI design. The company also feels horrible about them once again taking Aoba's chance to do Promo art. We also know that Aoba has potential for 'design' too, cause Peco wasn't just her art, but the idea was her's too. Like unless the author wants to make it so Aoba draws the short straw perpetually, or make the comapny total asses, they're probably soon gonna realize that Aoba is super valuable and they 'owe' her quite a bit. Also I don't remember clearly but it's been so long, but I think the actual point of Hazuki and the other higher ups not really interfering much was so they could test the staff in new roles now that Kou is gone for now, so they can move people around.

This is why i didn't like when Momiji won the competition, because she is clearly didn't deserve it and too full of herself. But i guess this is mandatory for Aoba's character developement 🙄

Wooooow I really don’t like Momo. God I just want this to end already so we can get back to the good stuff.
