This doesn't really make sense. Why would she give the gift to another girl to pass on when they live in the same apartment? Then she doesn't even confirm the situation with either girl... I can see the author is trying to make you sympathize with her over the misunderstanding but the way she handled this makes her look like a wishy washy idiot. Just stick to the fluff please
