The only justification for "killing" his sister i can imagine is if she was in a permanent coma or braindead, where letting her die would be better?
that's almost certainly it. Sister has cancer or something - it's terminal, and they have to pull the plug and let her go.The only justification for "killing" his sister i can imagine is if she was in a permanent coma or braindead, where letting her die would be better?
Thanks for theSorry for killing the mood with the meme page, but don't pretend you weren't thinking it too. Anyway! I was quick with this chapter because I was looking forward to it. But starting now I'll be releasing full chapters instead of half-chapters. You can expect the next one around new years!
It wasn't cancer or any terminal illness It was an accident that immediately killed his parents but left the sister in an unrecoverable state where she was slowly dying. The choice was left in his hands since he was the only living relative the doctors could get their hands on to make the decision. His uncle was overseas and couldn't be contacted at the time. His uncle loves their family and worked really hard to help Hajime when he found out what had happened.that's almost certainly it. Sister has cancer or something - it's terminal, and they have to pull the plug and let her go.
That would tear him up inside, even if it was a literal mercy. And that sort of thing destroys families, so entirely believable that his parents are off and he's on his own.
BulliesWho the fuck just walks up and starts a conversation like that?

Not looking for spoilers so I won't be actually reading, but I appreciate you taking the time to type it all out.It wasn't cancer or any terminal illness It was an accident that immediately killed his parents but left the sister in an unrecoverable state where she was slowly dying. I loved Hajime's reaction when Chinatsu start putting their names on a sheet of paper and making lines about everyone's relationships. It was funny.Outcomes are probably a little too predictable, but everyone is connected in some way to someone else, making it a big graph of sometimes unpredictable and unusual relationships.
And she didn't even know about most of them, real chart would be like something from nasuverse or touhouI loved Hajime's reaction when Chinatsu start putting their names on a sheet of paper and making lines about everyone's relationships. It was funny.
This felt like an accurate response to a traumatic situation, given the implied history between Hajime and the dude and the hinted-at events of Hajime's past. Why does every damn Mc have no backbone to speak like for real? It's literally every damn romance manga.
How many chapters away is what you said in the spoiler? By your estimation
She was dead dead. Brain functions ceased and the only thing keeping her alive was the medical equipment, however even that wasn't going to last as her body would shut down completely within a few days. Hajime made the decision to not prolong it and end her suffering because he was a kid at the time and didnt truely understand what he was doing until after it was already done. All he was thinking at the time was that he didnt want his sister to be suffering anymore.
That aside this is where everything changes in their relationship as Hajime begins to realize his feelings. However they do not get together until winter when Chinatsu's father attempts to take Chinatsu away by force while her mother is in the hospital due to overwork and stress. Hajime saves her then and they properly become a couple.
