The world building is very refreshing! And the characters have depth in their personality. I feel relatable with the FL in terms of getting rejected and have to act as a replacement until the chosen one is free to get there. The ML so far is meh. Let's see how they justify his change of heart to our FL. Even if he recognizes our FL, and fall for her, he's still not a loyal person to change his heart from time to time like that.

Based on how he's been acting? Probably if the diva start being classist like how the butler/steward are and refuse to spread the song to improve the territory.
Keep in mind the news of him choosing the diva came just before the head priest was going to recommends Arietta, so it's not like he had two choices and pick the diva over her.

Heck there's a good chance the temple's letter suggesting Arietta to be his wife was thrown away by the butler/steward without reaching him.
They still 'accept' her as priestess out of formality, but they clearly tried their best to pretend she doesn't exist.
