people talking about NTR when they don't even know what NTR is: the literal translation is "to steal under one's nose" (netorare), but it refers to when you "steal" a person in an already established relationship. The girl didn't even know who this "hero" was until now, so where the hell are you guys seeing NTR???

There is a subgenre of NTR that involves the concept of "But I loved her first" where the "stolen" girl is not in a relationship with the "protagonist" but the protagonist knows who she is and "loves" her only to discover that she got a lover or into a relationship before they acted on their "love." This is the type of NTR the "Heroes" in this story are experiencing. The "Heroes" know all the heroines from the game and "romanced" them in the game, but because they assumed that the girls were already theirs they will have them stolen under their noses by the MC unintentionally romancing them.

This form of NTR is heavily linked to the reason Japanese idols can get in serious trouble if they are discovered to have a boyfriend or had sexual relationships with someone. Idol fanatics can be dangerous especially if they believe an idol is theirs and they feel that someone has stolen her from them.

People really taking a joke and arguing about the definition of NTR, while being wrong too. They do not need to be in an established relationship for it to be NTR. A massive portion of the genre is like that, from doujins to games. The point is the feelings it gives the viewer.
One could say the heroes got NTR'd if they're taking it hard. Or even as a joke lol.

Does she get back together with Yuugo? Or she ends up with someone else?
As far as I can tell, she's actually still with Zenon, who's still alive, but basically got so utterly humiliated he's thoroughly mentally broken, and isn't even a threat anymore. It's a bit of a story, but in a nutshell, Claire simply believes herself to be partially responsible for his state because she never spoke up about his worsening attitude, which she feels she should've done as his girlfriend, not realizing he was just horrible from jump. That plus some other factors like accidentally making things worse with certain suggestions to him. After a series of horrible events, she basically has near zero self-esteem now since in her eyes, she's surrendered all of her respect to get him out of a REALLY lethal situation (which involved asking Yugo for help directly). As of up to where I've read, she's resolved to at least try to tell him to shape up and otherwise help him. Horrible judge of character she is, she genuinely loves the dude. Though at the moment it's more of a minder/invalid relationship.

much later on Zenon manages to pull his head out of his ass, and realizes ‘oh shit these are actual people not game characters’ and gets that he has actually fallen for Claire as a person, and not just some member of his harem of game characters.
Which leads to him saving a hospitalized Yugo from another disgruntled reincarnator who ruined his reputation beyond repair.
ATM in the WN the last time we saw either Zenon or Claire was when Zenon decided to go on a journey to learn more about the world now that he’s not just thinking of it as a game anymore, and Claire deciding to go along with him.
Claire looks to be pretty happy how Zenon changed from his epiphany, and so things seems to be looking up for her.
So despite being the first one to end up dropping out of the reincarnators ‘hero contest’ Zenon ironically is right now the only one of them to actually end up being happy in their second life

Thank you for translating this brilliant piece of fiction! Huge sentai/rider fan so I’ve just been ABSOLUTELY LOVING this! If it were to get an official release in English I’d be buying the preorder tbh.

Can we just officially have moments when the douchebag challenges the MC for the women's affection, everyone just looks at him with disgust and call him scum.

At that point, your no longer a rival, your just a waste of space

Is the source material really popular or something ? So far the manga is quite messy with both art and paneling , story moving weirdly and heroine already went for a kiss for shock factor despite not knowing mc for that long…etc.
IDK the writing is really really childish even for shounenesque isekai standard…It’s like author’s understanding of how actual human interact is really flawed and they only know how ANIME/MANGA characters act…

Great development for
Zenon and Claire, really happy that the author didn't just dump them in a corner after their "comeuppance" and even gave them a mini arc where they can continue growing and be happy.
