This kind of cliché feels like extremely lame writing the moment you see it logically and realize that that was actually attempted murder and they treat it like it was nothing, even in another world in a medieval society there'll be laws for people trying to kill people

really nice to see the male character take charge. usually in isekai they are just led around by the waifus in the party or at least by their expectations. would have been especially bizarre here since he still has old man personality
