This 2B version feels too far from the game version (Is she a different one?). The one I played with and grew to appreciate was cold, tactical, precise! She never doubted herself even once, followed orders like a champ and was strong-willed in every situation. She could slap 9S' butt without battling an eye, that's the 2B I remember.

@Albmi as @footman stated, this is A2's story, this is when YoRHa first started out, these are the first series of YoRHa units that were still "prototypes". This is not 2B.
This story is somewhat told in Route C of Automata when A2 goes back to camp for the fuel filter and Anemone tells her she compiled the records of the Pearl Harbor Descent where A2 first met Anemone.
Also this manga is based on the screenplay YoRHa ver. 1.2 written by Yoko Taro, which told the story from A2's perspective instead of Anemone's (Anemone's POV was used in Automata), and is set ~4 years before the story of Automata (this is 11941 AD while Automata is set in 11945 AD).

@Albmi This is A2's backstory, not 2B. If you looked behind Anemone later in the game there is a terminal With A2's and Anemone's back story. This is that in manga form.
