Yeah, that's also possible. Though now that I think about it he's probably bowing at the banknotes directly from the hand of the customers, not the customers themselves.

Man I just feel sad for Matsukoma more than anything. Like, I have no idea how this is going to play out in-universe cause we're only halfway through the currently released volumes. If we were closer to the end, I could at least figure he'd hopefully be able to quit the conbini. At least the real Matsukoma is doing better hopefully. Besides the illness which I hope he's recovered from. Getting a manga isn't the end all be all but I hope that helped him get his foot through the door to do other writing.

Actually speaking of, doesn't this entire manga count as whistleblowing? Like, totally deserved whistleblowing, but I remember in Skull Faced Bookseller, the mangaka got in trouble for a chapter for possible whistleblowing. Though, her job was more connected to the manga industry that probably doesn't want their secrets out there. And I guess most reasonable people would already kind of figure that working in a convenience store and customer service sucks

i wouldn't be surprised if there was some lawsuits but i guess it's fine as long as he doesn't namedrop specific ppl (i hear in korea, ppl can sue you, even if you're right/the facts are correct, for slander or so, idk if it makes it impossible to report any celeb news that isn't fully positive)

but other than specifics, 90% of the isekai manga are literal fantasy escapism from crappy jobs so i guess it's just 'accepted' in japan , tho 'customers are annoying sometimes' isn't as bad as "My manager sexually harassed me at work"

Tho it would be funny if a set of their manga was sold/displayed at the forefront of most konbini as a passive aggressive way to show how awful ppl can be/how not to act , tho plenty of selfish/non-self-aware ppl who'd not be diff otherwise

LOL i'm sure some bl spinoff with him would be popular but he probably just considers it 'healing'/comforting even if through tweets/no context it sounds more like he's thirsting for some. (wonder if it started in his youth, been a while since i read but would've expected some flash back of him hanging out with an older uncle/grandpas or so) Surprised no chapter of him going to one of those 'dandy butler' cafes XD; not that he can afford it rn lol.

Back when Golden Kamuy was being translated, the guys from EHS did a similar credits page which was very clean and simple, maybe you could benefit from some ideas around, personally I'm fine with it as long as it's in english lol

Well, heh, I've got a working design going on. It'll be deployed in the next release. For now I'm just waiting for Lamei to finish redrawing so you guys better cheer him on
