I like how bro immediately thought of Tsubaki and considered the entire interaction between him and Manaka as cheating despite the fact the two of em aren't even officially dating

She thinks they are though. Ch 2.2 Pg 4 and Pg 9. He's worried she'd kill him if she found him "cheating" on her. With everyone believing they're a thing, the false SA accusations in his past, and them being suspended for being "caught fucking" (as everyone else sees it) everyone would believe that he's a lowlife cheating fuck-monkey. Even if no other students know about the false SA accusations at least some of the faculty do.

It suddenly occurred to me that the false SA accusation could possibly made by his sister if she was forcing herself on him and got caught. The parents specifically mentioned the sister as staying at home and that they were still debating what to do about her. It seems that the parents believe the SA allegation.

I am totally guessing that both of the girls are childhood friends...it just seems he can't remember. Tsubaki (the "delinquent" angry girl) is probably the girl he protected as a kid with the black hair who seemed super shy in those panels. And of course we now know who Manaka was to him as a kid.

That would be (as far as ecchi manga goes) a passable explanation foe why she's down so bad, if kind of a boring one.

Doesn't explain why she thinks you "have" to fuck instead of just wanting to, though.

welp, we are one dangerous love triangle now. One tomboy turned shy childhood friend that decided to act girly for attention, and one vulnerable girl turned (misunderstood) yankee that remembered her savior and wanted to protect herselg.

well, one just has a very loose idea of romance (he confessed, we dating, time to get straight to seggs). The other wants to prove she's girly now and dispel the tomboy mentality MC had.

They are both dumb, especially doing this on campus. But explainable ig.

So the series is just gonna be censored? Or is it holding out for the volume release.

probably gotta wait for the tankobon yea. probably gonna be a while though since this is a relatively new series with seemingly monthly releases (divided into halfs for bi-weekly half chapters).

Might take a peek on the scanlator's website to see if it goes anywhere before completely jumping ship though

The raws only go to 5-1, with 5-2 coming out on the 9th.

As for why she is the way she is: bet it has something to do with her being super shy in her younger years (which is possible) and she saw it in some sort of manga/book and thought it was real. Would not surprise me in the least.
