Ok wait a minute, why are they acting like he didn't just try to rape her last chapter?! Was that the dad's dream or something?! I'm so confused 😭

He...who? Tateyama? Only Akari and her father knows he tried to rape her.

The dream we see at the end of chapter 28 was Akari's dad's dream, yeah., if that's the dream you are talking about.

In that case why did she forgive him for the attempt?! I thought the whole rape scenario might have been the dad's dream to be a better father for Akari.

No, I don't think that's the case. Akari was almost raped for real, the father saved her, and decided to stop drinking. Then Akari told him to use the machine, hoping that it will help me quit drinking once and for all.

Akari didn't really "forgive" Tateyama, but I guess she didn't want to press charges against him. It's not something unusual among rape victims in real life too. There can be various reasons: for example the victims are afraid, they are embarrassed, they think it's useless...and so on. The problem now is that Uchida will know about it, he will surely kill Tateyama with his own hands.

Maybe because they don't know what happened? It was only Tateyama, Akari and her dad in their home where that went down

Nope, that happened before she gave him the machine, Tateyama really went there and tried to do what he did

You can't seriously be this slow....she literally said Tateyama's name multiple times while that was going down, she only called Uchida's name in the end hoping he would show up and save her, only to be rescued by her dad instead

Her mentioning Uchida was a cry for his help

Plus Tateyama looks nothing like Uchida

Nope, her dad's dream happened after that rape attempt went down, her dad saving her actually happened
