Man this is a total let down.
I was excited to see an Isekai where the MC is just a dirt eating grunt trying to survive not a super soldier but this very quickly flipped around.
Also what is up with these repeated no-stakes fights?? He gets his damn arm slashed like every other fight and the next page its magically healed our main characters haven't gotten as much as a scar throughout all this fighting.
Really dreading the unavoidable comeback of that wind magic waifu bait character btw.

MC still is a foot solider, having to be sent to the front lines and not being in a comfortable position of not having to directly put himself in danger or commanding from the backlines of a battlefield. Also this is an isekai with magic, if it has those 2 combined and isn't written in an interesting way for the masses it ain't gonna sell.
MC could've died if his enemies were good soldiers instead of trying to help their friend, you weren't invested in the fight. I mean did you not read any of the words when MC is arrives at a new battlefield? Or even what happens after the battles? Because MC doesn't just go to the next battlefield the next day you know, like if you read chapter 7, page 4, panel 3: "2 MONTHS AFTER SEIGE OF MYARD CAPITAL, EDINBURGH". Months have passed in the first 7 chapters of this manga. And for comparison entire time the straw hats has been together for like 4 months pre-timeskip. And wdym "no-stake fight"? Also have you not realized this is a magical isekai world, they can fix MC with either magic or special shrooms or something.

Ever heard of "talking is free action"? Yeah it's something similar to that. Also it's not like MC made that guy look more burnt than Freddy Kruger after several years and he still survive, because that's not how being burned alive works
