36 degrees celsius is about 97 degrees to my fellow freedom-loving Americans.

I was to lazy to check what that was in F. Now I can officially say, "damn that's hot!"

Honestly enjoyed catching up!
The question I keep thinking is, when will Mewi-chan get to visit? (Probably won't)
Possession seems a bit inconvenient.

No, 36°C is not normal. It's way too hot. And that's like two degrees less than the absolute max that's ever been recorded in my country.
Bad news bud, but for many countries 36°C is just an average summer day. It's a livable temperature in a dry country, but unfortunately it's Japan. So I would say upgrade that apparent figure to... let's say 40-42°C on a particularly bad day.

Marie's world was polluted during the ancient human-demon war. The Mana Collapse. "Even those foul smelling meats and vegetables are tainted by it's lingering effects." I wonder if this just effects the taste of their food; or if there are also other negative effects. Like maybe food is less nutritious.

If there is a way to cleanse this pollution, you'd think that Wridra would make that a priority, and have mentioned it much earlier. Especially since she's tasted unpolluted food from Japan. Making food taste better for an entire world, would be a very good long term goal. Also, don't ever take Marie and Wridra to America. Most of our food is poisoned with glyphosate (wee killer), emulsifiers, preservatives, flavor enhancers, and food dyes.
