Well... This was worth the almost ten year wait from when I first read the first few chapters. It's a really great slice of life manga, and the romance is understated and very well done (I like romance, but hate over the top, angsty, unnecessarily dramatic stuff). So many authors (can we say "Harlequin-esque?"), use breathless, contrived plots and characters. As a result, their "romance" is nothing more than a florid cliche, and touches the heart about as much as Big Macs and 'smores touch my gourmet senses (not that I'm a real gourmet). I look forward to other things written by Ozawa Mari Sensei. Also, thanks, Dayment Scans for bringing this to us non-Japanese-literate types.
