Hmmm... lately, I've been reading mangas that start similar to this, like, the MC gets kicked out like he was nothing and left alone to die because he's weak.
Right. I understand the idea of firing someone useless, or in this case easily replaced by a tool.
But why this trend of kicking them out in the depth of a dangerous place?
Is this the only way the authors can think of establishing that the team is evil? Some do a slightly better job by firing the MC in town at least, and use other ways to signify how nasty the team (leader or whole team) can be.

One question though...
What would happen if you combine this special backpack with his unique skill? Would he be able to carry 50,000 of... whatever the unit is?

Why not though, I think it would be fun to abandon someone in a dungeon to die. The look on their face would be priceless lol.

So from the description, the MC get stronger the heavier the amount of weight he's carry. Which means should he end up not carrying anything, his ass is basically fucked.

To show how little they think of the Mc and show how evil they are.
These stories are almost always escapist fantasies inspired by black companies in Japan, and the party is as horrible they thing those bosses are.

Plus in Japan there is a stigma against firing people, it is bad PR, so they drive them to quit. The dumping the MC to deep for them to survive is a way around that stigma, so the party can save face.

Wow, such a unique setting :cautious:
They have not not shown nearly enough of the setting to raitronally make a judgement like that.
The setting, its depth and originality all take much more than an opening framing chapter to establish or judge.
World building takes time. Good world building occurs over an entire series.

Most people are not psychopaths????? Leaving a innocent person to die horribly kind of requires you be one.

I glanced at the WN, it looks more like it is actually synergy with the skill of the girl he meets at the end.
Her skill makes buff items but is weak partly due to limits on how many people can carry (seemed to be an exponential increase in weight the more that are carried), but his skill acts as a work around and he can equip multiples easily stacking their boosts
EDIt : Sorry, missed something a bit later
In ch 10 he finds out He has a 2nd skill he, and the party, do not know about that strengthens his companions based on his load. Apparently it is a rare skill that seems to manifest in bullied individuals who have been made to carry luggage.
The party starts having issues because they are lacking the buff they did not know about.
That and thee guy they give the bag to is not good at using it, guess it does not have the convenient item you want is always on top like is common in magic/RPG storage bags

How could she look at someone laying face down as a seat cushion? And even though she thought that it's a seat cushion, how could she just sat on it without checking? Did she think that finding a seat cushion in a dungeon is not suspicious at all? Smh

I've seen people heartbroken after being expelled from FRP groups, and I've seen people who aren't at all kind in effecting such expulsions.

(I observe FRP at a distance; it is not my thing.)
