I dont really get showing this other timeline situations, other than giving canon answer for "what-ifs" if the mangaka want to, and background on the history which doesnt really matter now since they are in a new timeline. Not like they can move between the timelines. I'm guessing more time traveler(s) appearing soon or all these timeline/background stories are just the mangaka wanting to draw brawls
