That one panel was SO bad. It's really jarring considering that the Artist has been so good until then.
It's like he drew the top half and then was like "oh fuck I forgot the bottom half" and then drew that next. But then the two segments don't line up.
I wonder if he initially didn't draw her with lewdness in mind, just the top half - then the Editor was like "Yo bro this is a good opportunity for some ecchi"
@Gauvain
thunder and lightning are made by friction of wind and water of clouds, i remember some manga explained how lightning created like this. i believe the author used this logic.
Thanks for sharing, but I'd like to talk about 'military magic'. The priest said he can use his 'military magic' to transport them straight to goblin dungeon. Based on this, I imagine 'military magic' means something that functions on a larger scale, such as on a military unit instead of something local like fireball. How about changing it into 'tactical magic'? Teleportation is commonly considered as tactical or strategic, depending on the scale.
A "dragon king orb" thingy. I'm not 100% on the functionality, but I think it let's the wielder use dragonrace skills and magic and possibly a physical buff?
Hers was extremely high class, infused with power by the Chieftain (her father) of her tribe/village over several years. If she had given it to someone, it would have been like a sign of betrothal or a dowry. I think one estimate put it at or above 2 million of their currency. They also stole any of her possessions that were left back at the inn.
MTL and explanation of what military magic is, not much of a spoiler:
MTL:
"It's a support magic to be used by a large number of people. Originally, I'm going to work with some priests and go to 100 or 1000 people, but if only this number of people, I can use it alone."
"It's sober but effective ... not tired of legs, relaxed to increase the effect of a break, or excited to dispel fears. It's really convenient to travel with people who can use army magic. However, if the wild adventurers use it, the army and the knights will not look good, so it may be better to keep it secret. "
"It's so handy, it's very convenient. I understand the secret."
Explanation:
It's a support magic that is usually used by a group of priests on large number of soldiers, allowing for longer, faster, and less exhausting troop movements, increases the effectiveness of rests, and decreases fear in battle.
It's pretty simple and effective, but nothing flashy like teleportation or anything like that.
And yes, I agree that the anatomy looks weird on some of these pages.
I was expecting him to be holding back on saying anything to give them a lesson in the end about the difference between just killing monsters and adventuring in a dungeon with a well organized party, comparatively the result was rather disappointing. . .
