okay, definitely some problems with the writing in towards the end, more specifically, Kazumi,s character and her implications towards the end, and also the conclusion the overarching story. not exactly errors, but rather bad writing. still a decent read midway tho.
remember the VERY first sentence of the series?"ninjas reside in shadows. they can never let anyone know their true identity, except for the one a kunoichi has set her heart on"?SPOILERSwell, shinobu not accepting her true identity (more like retracting it) to hitoyoshi actually implies she didnt set her heart on him, which is the overarching plot of the entire story. well, but she does give him obvious no brainer hints through out the series so its just a nitpicking atp. but still. and i absolutely hate what they did with kazumi's character. Its HEAVILY implied she likes hitoyoshi, and shes just 'broken'/ doesnt wanna ruin her relationship so she just hides and supresses it, but then in the end its again implied she will fall for sasuke. bad, bad writing. first of all, kazumi knowing about her feelings and acting against it is so out of her chracter, especially since she's 'selfish' and all. Just imagine you have struggles in your life and then the only person that makes you feel good is the one youre not trying to be the closest with. especially how at the end kazumi and sasuke went to hangout, she called hitoyoshi and since shinobu was busy, she decided not to. LIKE BRO, wasnt the whole point of a chapter that you supressed your own feelings in a bittersweet way so you could keep hanging out with hitoyoshi? and another chapter with shinobu to confirm this? and another one to remove the doubt of shinobu and hitoyoshi being couples and you growing closer with shinobu?? wow, i sure wrote a such a big comment for this random thurday night manga. lemme go and kill myself real quick.
