I'm quite confused. Konoha talked about going to class to not repeat "another" year, so does this mean it's already a new school year? But why is Yoshida there in her class too? Unless she is repeating as well...

In the previous chapter Yoshida asked Konoha if she could come regardless.

You know depending on how dark of a mind Hamburger-sensei has if the series gets ax (probably won't since anime, unless "knock on wood" she catches the artist health issues) she is gonna be the hail mary of the last volume. actually now that I think about it would all abrupt ends just be Bad Ends for what ever series?

In every other series, this would be a plot of how to convince sensei to stop (or make it unnecessary to keep) mind violating her students.
But here we just convince her to do it to more people!

The main theory is that it is the mother in both cases. She only disappeared based on what yoshida says in chapter 15, she would be close to the father, and the one who ordered the hit on aoi said that aoi was a rival in school grades to her child, and from characters introduced that can only be yoshida.

man im so curious about why she was locked away in the village (considering that she was treated as a dropout yet the higher ups also tamper'd with her perception.

also don't forget that satoko was forgiven SEVEN TIMES FOR RRUNNING AWAY! Midoris sister was heavily punished for doing that once. I think they very much realized how powerful and useful her ability it is. But also how dangerous it is (since somebody in the village can just revive the dead, her ability is probably one of the most efficient ways to permakill a ninja).

Well, that makes sense. I mean, a lot of people write manga and novels hoping that they'll get an anime adaptation. In that case, if the anime adaptation fails, it's easy to give up.
