This is legit one of the manga that has the most jumpy dialogues bruh the characters always feel like they halfway thru speaking and it get cut off into the next one.

I'm curious if this ever gets an anime adaptation will they keep the dialogue as is or fill in the gaps with other sources (LN or the author).

If this was a LN adaptation the plot would prolly be written to make a bit more sense. I’m glad it’s at least a different author from the mangaka who’s writing for it (although it sometimes still feels like they’re writing chapter to chapter). The mangaka’s previous work was even worse in that respect.

I don't know why the second Nui figured out he was controlling her friend, let alone the other children, she didn't try to coordinate to kill him, or at least subdue him.

FFS, pattern-recognition or not, he clearly is, if not evil, partly responsible for all the shit that's going on. Even if he was managing the entire tree, he HAS to be corrupted to some degree - a lot of people with good intentions have ended up corrupted and unknowingly sabotaging themselves in this series, after all.
