Some mechanics:

• Weft form on her back extending the tattoo.
• Sword (that they worked so hard to get) is now in hands of Demon Lord. Though that may bite the demon lord.
• Sword is actually still attached to accursed child, who is somewhat at odds with Demon King.
• Will Scythe stay with Ryuu? I wouldn't think that it was her style, but that may be breaking the katana trope.
• Back world tree manifesting in air/ground around her? Kind of like a magic circle.
• Demon King now has a spine. And has manifested into a elf form.
• Demon King has been kind of incoherent before this. Seems more awake now.
• In terms of parts, the score is 2:1 (Jaw and Eye destroyed vs Spine recovered).
• Nui powered up? And it seems that there's (probably) no need for her to stay at elf nation.
• Ryuu's new night is very competent at fighting. Though he's not good as a butler.
• How about the spirits? Are they sticking with Ryuu?
• Also that garment with special threads? Still powered up?
• Will Spirit King be haunting Ryuu for a while? (Could show up to resolve elf family dynamic down the road.)
• They're still remarking on the skill tree. I'm still thinking that it's the goddess' skill tree. I.e. that she is there in some way in that tattoo.

Aren't elves almost always portrayed without any facial hair at all? I don’t remember if we saw any elf with facial hair in this series so it makes sense a evil elf would have a beard

It's like with Star Trek, you know a character is evil universe alternative version cause they have a beard

Beard-coded Evil in Star Trek TOS also extended to Klingons and a few other cases. Almost made it weird that Romulans were clean-shaven.

I liked this chapter. IF I had to use a different word to describe it... Control. Both the demon lord an Jabin, who turned out to be brothers/family, had different opinions on how to control essentially the world? But The spirit king learned to let go. Passing the torch, with that sapling of the world tree. So basically, the samsara users are the Chaos that stirs the flow of the world. Not necessarily heroes, but this time around the samsara user is correcting the chaos from the evil lord... because why contain it when you can destroy it.

Felt to me like the Spirit King was finally able to rest and pass on the metaphorical baton. He fizzes out in the last panels, leaving the demon king to comment on the spirit king choosing chaos, the chaos that the samsara user brings. That is what I got from the sapling of the world tree being what is preserved instead of keeping the rotting grown world tree. That is what the MC mentioned was the coffin, the world tree being the coffin of the spirit king.

I really enjoy this series, but I feel like the art has been getting increasingly... not "bad" or "worse" exactly, but messier/sketchier? Or at least harder to parse what's going on? I don't remember having nearly this much trouble understanding what's happening visually in earlier chapters. I think that's contributing to it a lot for me.

I think it has to do with the way every single panel having clear lines with lacking of distinction like a shadow, shade, difference thickness between lineart, nor even a bright highlights around character to make them easier to spot and distinctive seperating them from the background.

Honestly i appreciate the mangaka art style and artistic choice because it becomes the icon of this manga, but it should also be considerable about readings efficiency for clealer visual representation so it's easier to grasp the surrounding in its messy art style, maybe it's just the author flaw and lacking ability when it comes to draw detailed Accurate lightning?

To be fair the entire point was that you couldn't tell them apart and Romulans were infiltrating the Vulcans and Federation, so it makes sense they were clean-shave lol
