This one is easily an 8.5/10 or even a 9/10 for me.
I really love the creativity behind it, the premise is fun, and honestly, the whole power system is very good. I also like the way they identify those powers. The art is really nice too.
It’s a very good story. I haven’t seen everything yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, a lot of the people complaining just seem impatient and too focused on wanting to see the most irrelevant parts of the story. (I think it's completely irrelevant how he ended up there, and honestly, it's even a little tiring how many times they show something from his past life, only to hammer in our heads once again why he is who he is)
At first, though, I really didn’t like the way the protagonist acted. Sure, he was an old man and a yakuza boss, but he also came across as a smart guy, familiar with younger generations, and overall a pretty formal person with the way he dressed. Then, once he becomes the girl, he suddenly acts like a dumb animal who only knows how to punch, doesn’t seem to understand basic English, and doesn’t understand or respect her female body at all. The scenes where he wants to get naked in public, or doesn’t immediately react when people try to touch him, bothered me a lot. It just doesn’t feel like something that old man would do.
But anyway, I like how he slowly starts becoming more like her over time while recovering his memories.
It gives me a One Piece kind of vibe, with him escaping the "Marines" while helping people along the way. Obviously, the main premise now seems to be helping this new group/family and maybe avenging the father.
Even though I thought his way of speaking was a bit exaggerated, and I didn’t really like how much he struggled to understand how other people talk, I do like that the story/translation stays consistent with the way he speaks, that style of speech is part of the personality of the manga.
