What the heck happened?? Why is only chapter 50 showing? I wasn't that far into it last time I read it!
Copyright reasons. They take it down, because the official upload will be coming. It's just one of the many cases happening in the entire Mangadex. Which many are removed from DB, or least worst, chapters in the Manga are removed.

What this means: Scanlations soon will not be allowed. Since official companies are starting to take notice.

So anyone know why there's no new chp yet? Bc every (except raw) website I check the lastest chapter is all the same and it's also the chapter that I read a long time ago

I very much enjoy the atmosphere and world that this have, it's probably one of the best isekais I've read when it comes to the world-building. Everything that is happening feels natural and doesn't feel forced just to progress the story.

The characters feel bland but I think that's just because most of them don't get much screentime to begin with. I don't really have an issue with the main 3 ones that we follow.

The plot to me is not that unique plus it has the isekai debuff, but I don't really mind that much because it ks executed well enough.

TLDR
I recommend it, hella fun to read.

Can't say I agree; the Manga was good like 2 years ago.. the releases are slow and the story is very grindy. As with a lot of isekais, the core premise gets abandoned which is sad - it's meant to be about a yakuza boss inhabiting a princess. The political drama with the princess and the constant fugitive status with saviour syndrome means that the MC travels around, saves some damsels, and then moves on. You never really grow any attachment to side characters, everyone is kind of bland.. there doesn't seem to be anything really at stake. It's really dropped off in the last 12 chapters.

I actually came here to say something similar. I dropped this manga just now because I realized I barely even read it anymore, I just skim the chapters. It turned into this random generic power scaling fantasy story with barely any emphasis on the mystery of the reincarnation or use of the guy's past knowledge. Unfortunate and 9.00 is an overrate in 2026.

This one is easily an 8.5/10 or even a 9/10 for me.
I really love the creativity behind it, the premise is fun, and honestly, the whole power system is very good. I also like the way they identify those powers. The art is really nice too.

It’s a very good story. I haven’t seen everything yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, a lot of the people complaining just seem impatient and too focused on wanting to see the most irrelevant parts of the story. (I think it's completely irrelevant how he ended up there, and honestly, it's even a little tiring how many times they show something from his past life, only to hammer in our heads once again why he is who he is)

At first, though, I really didn’t like the way the protagonist acted. Sure, he was an old man and a yakuza boss, but he also came across as a smart guy, familiar with younger generations, and overall a pretty formal person with the way he dressed. Then, once he becomes the girl, he suddenly acts like a dumb animal who only knows how to punch, doesn’t seem to understand basic English, and doesn’t understand or respect her female body at all. The scenes where he wants to get naked in public, or doesn’t immediately react when people try to touch him, bothered me a lot. It just doesn’t feel like something that old man would do.

But anyway, I like how he slowly starts becoming more like her over time while recovering his memories.
It gives me a One Piece kind of vibe, with him escaping the "Marines" while helping people along the way. Obviously, the main premise now seems to be helping this new group/family and maybe avenging the father.

Even though I thought his way of speaking was a bit exaggerated, and I didn’t really like how much he struggled to understand how other people talk, I do like that the story/translation stays consistent with the way he speaks, that style of speech is part of the personality of the manga.
