Nah, she just felt ill from saying something she found so disgusting, and she only said it so Marla would back off and Alistair would not get his desired outcome. I mean, there's some subtext that they care about each other, but nothing they would acknowledge consciously. That was her getting in his way out of spite.

Not really though, she did have feelings for him when they were friends in the village. She was going to confess when Alistar exclaimed that he wanted to marry someone rich, breaking Magary. It was in chapter 22, also when Magary experienced amnesia, she was affectionate with Alistar and had no malice. It's why I want homegirl too to win in the end, she changed because of Alistar, they followed each other until now and is the only one who knows Alistar's true personality.
While it would be cool seeing Alistar with someone more attractive and richer. Having Magary be the end goal is more genuine than to follow Marla for fetish.

She still loves him but forces her emotions down with the sheer hate she feels for him as well.
