Feels weird that Raku didn’t realize how gentle and caring Chitoge can be and has been to others like Tsugumi. She really is only grumpy to him (and Shu), and it has definitely calmed down over time as she’s more genuinely kind to Raku.
And on the matter of the name Tsugumi… I think I ended up finding out about the fact it came from Chitoge prematurely from somewhere, so I started to use it instead of the name Claude gave her, as it felt more significant an origin, and I noticed the girls were calling her that, anyway, even though they generally called each other by their first names. The only characters that referred to her as Seishirou were Claude and Shu, from what I saw.
But seeing the actual flashback itself reinforces the fact that she should be called Tsugumi. I try to call characters by their first names in comments where possible for as much clarity as possible (like saying Onodera could refer to Kosaki, Haru, or Nanako, so it’s more clear if I just call her Kosaki), but Tsugumi doesn’t have that problem, and narrative significance now insists upon it.
Also, damn, a competent fighter, an experienced and organized cook, a seamstress… Tsugumi is quite multi-talented, herself. I mean, the cast is full of remarkable characters. Feels weird when some comments call out some as too capable and well-liked when that describes most of the cast.
