This story feels like it likes torturing its audience with these Raku-Kosaki teases. I still feel like she’s going to lose, but they keep making it so hard not to hope with every cliffhanger implying they’ll be together for a bit. Then ultimately show an utter lack of significant progress, in the end.
If you do legitimately ship them, this story just feels like it’d be unending frustration. Compare that negativity to the generally positive movement just about every time there‘s focus on Chitoge, or something that references or links to her, and general reinforcement towards her… and it feels apparent she’s the deuteragonist of this story.
