Pretty messed up situation... no wonder Marika turned out as warped as she is. Anyone would be mentally damaged after an upbringing like that.
Marika does sound much better than her mother, at the very least. She may have been manipulative and deceitful, but even in those things she had standards and principles, it sounds like. There was no way to know these things, as she never revealed such traits before, honestly. She was such an excellent actor, going along with the fake relationship story and rarely letting on she knew about his crush on Kosaki until the very end.
Raku was about to give up there... He really does need Chitoge to give him a 'swift kick', sometimes. They work so much better together, and Kosaki sees it... (Edit: this seems like a 'this will be important later' sort of detail)
And, wow... Yui really is useful to have on hand, isn't she? Kind of a deus ex machina when you have the head of a powerful multinational organization on your side.
